Resignation of Caroline Cayeux: five short months in government, and then leaves

The rumor of a "problem" with the declaration of assets of Caroline Cayeux ran since last Friday within a very small circle.

So tight, that a good part of the government learned live, this Monday, November 28, that the Minister Delegate in charge of Local Authorities had, therefore, presented her resignation to Emmanuel Macron (by telephone) and to Elisabeth Borne (from visu), Sunday evening.

Even the vast majority of the collaborators of the former mayor of Beauvais (Oise) only discovered it a handful of hours before the publication of the press release in the morning.
