Bohm therefore asked the presenter of the Russian TV show: "How often have we heard from you and others that the NATO military operation in Kosovo and Serbia is basically absolutely illegitimate because there was no UN mandate.
It has been described as American lawlessness, a blatant disregard for international law."
He also asked whether Russia had a UN mandate for its military actions in Ukraine, to which TV presenter Babyan replied "no".
"Oh, but it's different, right?" Bohm asked afterwards.
When Bohm asked if the two wars were different, the host replied, "We're conducting a special military operation, and NATO was conducting their special military operation."
