The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Air Force killed more than 100 soldiers and destroyed Ukrainian military equipment, while trying to transport it across the railway line in Dnepropetrovsk.
The ministry's spokesman, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, said in a press statement today that Russian high-precision weapons targeted the stationing of personnel and military equipment for the Ukrainian forces in the Moiseyevka station area in the Dnepropetrovsk region, where 8 armored vehicles and five vehicles were destroyed while being loaded for transportation by rail.
Konashenkov added: The Russian forces thwarted an attempt to attack their positions in the direction of Kobyansk, and more than 50 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and a tank, two armored vehicles and a small truck were destroyed, while the Russian artillery repelled another attack attempt in the direction of Krasnolyman, and more than 30 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and two armored vehicles and 3 trucks were destroyed. He pointed out that the Ukrainian forces tried to launch a counter-attack in the direction of Artyomovsk, but it was stopped and up to 130 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and a tank, 5 armored vehicles and two trucks were destroyed.
Konashenkov pointed out that the operational and tactical aviation of the army, missile forces and artillery targeted 8 command posts of the Ukrainian forces, in addition to 57 points of concentration of personnel and military equipment in 124 districts and destroyed two ammunition depots, while Russian air defense systems destroyed 7 drones in the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics and in the Kherson region. Two Harm anti-radar missiles were intercepted in the Kherson region.
Konashenkov confirmed that since the beginning of the special military operation, 333 combat aircraft, 177 helicopters, 2,572 drones, 390 anti-aircraft missile systems, 6,866 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 904 multiple rocket launchers, 3,624 field artillery and mortars, and 7,395 special military vehicles have been destroyed.
