An 87-year-old man was stabbed to the back on Saturday afternoon at one of the entrances to the Georges-Valbon departmental park in La Courneuve (Seine-Saint-Denis), indicates the AFP on Monday.
On Saturday, around 4:30 p.m., this octogenarian was stabbed in the back which left him with a deep wound.
He died of his injuries, despite the intervention of emergency services.
The person suspected of delivering the fatal blow fled.
According to a source close to the investigation, the suspect would have tried to attack other people the days preceding the facts.
The Bobigny prosecutor's office indicates that an investigation has been opened for "intentional homicide".
She was entrusted to the judicial police service of Seine-Saint-Denis.
