Shots fired at motorists: Suspect escaped from prison

Almost two weeks after a driver was shot in Berlin-Lichtenberg, the police caught the alleged perpetrator.
A special task force (SEK) arrested the 45-year-old man on Sunday evening in an apartment in Neukölln, the police said on Monday.
The man had also been searched for a long time for another reason: he was dead on April 4th.

According to the police, intensive investigations and a targeted search by a homicide squad have now led to the suspect.
At noon on November 16, the perpetrator shot the 55-year-old victim's moving car several times from a sidewalk.
The driver was seriously injured.
Photos showed the shattered rear window of the hit car.
Newspaper reports said the perpetrator fired seven times.
Then he fled.
According to a "Bild" report, the victims and perpetrators are said to come from Kosovo, and the attack is said to have been about a dispute about a woman.
