They were SPD veterans and at the same time ahead of their time: now it's time for the Social Democrats in Hallbergmoos to say goodbye to the Brinkmanns.
Hallbergmoos
– With a small celebration in Straubis Brüderei-Café, the SPD local association Hallbergmoos-Goldach said goodbye to its veterans Helga and Wolfgang Brinkmann.
The current chairman Max Kreilinger, his deputies Ann Kreilinger-Pitters and Stefan Kronner as well as the former chairmen Karl-Heinz Bergmeier and Konrad Friedrich, as well as the state parliament candidate Alina Graf, paid tribute to the two and wished them all the best for their future in Hamburg, their new center of life.
They will live there in the future near their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
The beginnings of the local association were remembered, the merits of the former social officer and municipal councilor Helga Brinkmann and the commitment of the two as long-time secretaries on the board of the local association.
Appropriate gifts for the "emigrants" were also presented, packed in bicycle bags: pictures of the SPD municipal councilor Christiane Oldenburg-Balden, "Resi beer" from the Hotel-Gasthof Neuwirt, wine and last but not least sandbag bags, which can also be used as Shopping bags can be used.
Helga Brinkmann laid the foundation for the first after-school care center
Friend and District Administrator Helmut Petz said what everyone present is assuming: "Even if you are moving very far away now, we will not forget you and will definitely meet again."
By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
Helga and Wolfgang Brinkmann thanked them for the long time together and handed over a check for 200 euros to the head of the parliamentary group, Stefan Kronner, as a donation to the local association.
Helga Brinkmann recalled that as a social officer and municipal councilor, she was way ahead of her time when it came to family policy and childcare in Hallbergmoos and Goldach.
She laid the foundation for the first after-school care center and the introduction of lunchtime care.
