The negotiations between Furthmühle and the district are still stuck.
This has now become clear in the culture committee of the district council.
Fürstenfeldbruck/Egenhofen - The district budget has around 100,000 euros available for 2023 in order to be able to continue the cooperation between the mill museum and the district.
However, it must be considered extremely unlikely at the moment that the money could be used as in previous years.
A lot has been said and written, said District Administrator Thomas Karmasin when asked by Christian Holdt (ÖDP).

A spokesman for the cultural administration emphasized: “We want to make another proposal.
But there is no consensus.
We are far apart.”
The contract between the owners of the Furthmühle and the district regarding the operation of the museum, guided tours and a number of other leisure activities expired after 30 years.
A new draft of the contract has been discussed since then.
