For Michaela and Oliver, “marriage at first sight” was a stroke of luck.
At Sat.1, the couple tied the knot of marriage.
Now the two even want to move in together.
Herzogenaurach – For TV viewers, "Marriage at First Sight" is an exciting TV experiment, but for some participants the Sat.1 show changes their whole life.
This also applies to Michaela (34) and Oliver (43), who tied the knot in the current season and remained loyal to each other beyond the grand finale.
Now the dream couple is looking into a future together.
Real love in "Marriage at First Sight" - Michaela and Oliver emerge as a dream couple
There is no guarantee for great love in the docu-soap that has been running on Sat.1 since 2014: the supposed “marriage at first sight” dream couple Jana (26) and Markus (32) only recently separated – although the two were still heart and soul in the final.
It worked for Michaela and Oliver.

Since the show, the restaurant manager and the prison officer have been going through life together.
On Instagram, the 34-year-old recently posted a photo that showed the two watching the "Wedding at First Sight" finale on TV.
It was noticeable that the wedding photo of the two hangs directly next to the television – beautiful!
TV phenomenon "marriage at first sight" - a lot of criticism for Sat.1 success:
“Hochzeit auf dem Blick” is well received by television viewers and regularly gives Sat.1 good ratings, but there is also criticism of the program: A former participant complained in an interview with
noz.de
in 2017 that she felt she was being publicly presented : "If a production company wants that, they can turn a normal person into a hate figure," she criticizes.
The Catholic Church was not enthusiastic about the format either.
On
Domradio
, Cologne's Archbishop Rainer Maria Cardinal Woelki was harsh with "Marriage at first sight": "This new dome show on private television, in which complete strangers marry spontaneously in front of the camera and in a civil ceremony, perverts marriage - yes perverts love."
"Marriage at first sight" couple planning next step - Michaela moves to Oliver in Bavaria
Because her marriage to Oliver apparently lasts, Michaela would now like to take the next step and leave her home town of Bielefeld behind in the future, as she revealed on
promiflash.de
:
“There are no precise plans to move in terms of time.
But we were able to agree that I would move to Bavaria.”
She currently lives 400 kilometers away from her husband, who lives in Herzogenaurach, Franconia, near Nuremberg.

The fact that there are several hundred kilometers between them is currently not a problem for the couple.
The newly in love do everything they can to spend as much time together as possible – despite the distance: “We always find a solution so that we can see each other as often as possible.” However, there was no such happy ending on Sat.1 for all couples – one candidate even disappeared!
However, the fleeting "marriage at first sight" groom has now reappeared and made a statement.
