An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale jolted the coast of Greece this morning.
Agencies quoted the Seismological Center of the University of Athens as saying: The tremor occurred in the Aegean Sea, and its epicenter was 56 km northeast of Athens near the island of Euboea, at a depth of 2 km.
The center indicated that, hours before that, several small tremors of 2 and 2.5 degrees were recorded in this area, explaining that no information was received about the recording of injuries or damages as a result.
