A 20-year-old young woman was moderately injured today (Tuesday) by a vehicle near Shaar Binyamin on Route 60. The suspicion that it was a run-over attack was investigated, the driver fled the scene.
A medical team arrived at the scene and is treating her, while she is fully conscious.
Last week, the 50-year-old Aryeh Shechopek and Tedsa Tschuma were murdered in the double attack in Jerusalem, which included two deadly attacks that took place one after the other on Sderot Ben-Gurion Street at the exit of the city and at Ramot Junction.
According to the assessment, suspects placed the charges during the night and at the time of the attack the charges were activated remotely.
A gas cylinder was attached to the cargo at the Ramot junction, which did not explode and prevented greater damage.
