A 16-year-old teenager was arrested Friday in the town of Bensalem (Pennsylvania) after allegedly killing a woman and asking for help on Instagram to dispose of the body, according to police.
The suspect, identified as Joshua Cooper, sent a video to an acquaintance through that social network where he confessed to having accidentally killed someone, according to the Bensalem Township Police Department.
In the video, authorities said, the bloody legs of the alleged victim were visible.
"Then (the suspect) asked for help disposing of the body," police said.

Authorities said the parents of the person Cooper sent his video to alerted 911 and provided the location of the trailer where the suspect resided in Bensalem.
The agents went to the residence at around 4:11 pm (local time) on Friday.
Upon arrival, according to the police, the young man ran away but was captured.
In the trailer they
found a dead woman with a gunshot wound to her back.
Her identity has not been revealed.

According to the police report,
"there were indications that extensive measures were taken to clean up the crime scene."
Cooper said he found a gun in his parents' toolbox, according to the report.
He detailed that he had been in a relationship with the woman in the past and that they had both been watching Netflix that day.

Joshua Cooper was indicted as an adult on charges of criminal homicide, possession of instrumentalities of crime, and tampering or fabrication of physical evidence.
A district judge denied him bail and he was sent to the Edison Juvenile Detention Center.
