Alert for possible air pollution due to the eruption of the Mauna Loa volcano in Hawaii

The Hawaii Department of Health issued an alert for possible high levels of sulfur dioxide, airborne ash and volcanic smog from the eruption of Mauna Loa.

This is the first time in almost 40 years that the volcano has registered significant activity.

According to the Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii, this phenomenon attracts many tourists.
