The A 94 was already being built or renovated last year.
In 2023 and 2024, significant disruptions are to be expected.
Then there is the really big hit.

This will be the big hit: From next February there will be massive construction work on the A 94 between Ostkreuz and Hohenlinden until 2024.
Road users have to reckon with considerable disabilities.
Anzing/district – There have been several temporary construction works on the A 94 in the area between Hohenlinden and the München-Ost junction in recent years.
Most recently in the spring at the Forstinning, Markt Schwaben and Anzing junctions, where, among other things, the acceleration lanes were extended.
Or just recently in October, to make preparations for the measures to be taken in the coming year and the year after.
The big hit, so to speak, is just around the corner.
There is talk of a "fundamental renewal of the roadway" in the said section of the motorway, which is essentially located in the Ebersberg district area.
The background: "The roadway of the federal motorway A 94 has reached the end of its service life in the area between Hohenlinden and the Munich-Ost motorway junction and will therefore be renewed in 2023 and 2024," according to the website www.autobahn.de.
Mayor Alte provides information at the citizens' meeting in Anzing
In the course of a hybrid citizens' meeting in the municipality of Anzing these days, Mayor Kathrin Alte agreed to two (!) years in which the people of Anzing, but also the citizens of the neighboring municipalities in the northern district, will have to deal with sometimes considerable disabilities and restrictions will get.
Strong nerves and a lot of patience will be required in any case, after all it is about replacing the old concrete roadway with a modern and quieter asphalt surface.
So that two lanes can be available in both directions during the construction work, according to the municipal administration, the renewal is being carried out using a sophisticated system with eight different main traffic routes.
A certain mental flexibility will also be required of road users in the north of the district in 2023 and 2024.
The actual work is said to be done in two phases.
Next year it will first be the part between Hohenlinden and Markt Schwaben, and in 2024 it will be the section from Markt Schwaben to Ost-Kreuz.
Road renewal on the entire section
The measures will begin next February on the road towards Passau.
The right-hand side is to be renewed in March and April, and then in May and June there will be new traffic routing and the left-hand side will be renewed.
For July to November 2023, the direction of travel is Munich.
At the end of March/beginning of April, according to Alte in the citizens' assembly, the Anzing junction will be closed in the direction of Passau.
In mid-August, the Anzing exit towards Munich cannot be used.
A temporary traffic light will be set up at the junctions of the ramps from the motorway to state road 2081.
In the year after next, the renewal between the Markt Schwaben (FTO) connection to the motorway junction will be continued in the same scheme.
Then short-term partial closures of the Parsdorf junction can be expected.
At the Autobahnkreuz Ost, where the A 94 and A 99 intersect, all traffic should remain open during the construction work.
However, this requires extensive provisional measures and changing traffic routing, it was said on the sidelines of the citizens' meeting.
