The manufacture of mortar and dryers of all kinds was strongly present in the bazaar, and this was explained by engineer Nada Shabwa, who specializes in food processing and trained women in food processing in the Bab Sharqi community beacon, which conducted a course targeting about 13 women who underwent training on how to prepare more than 150 food products such as jams, pickles and sterilization And canning and drying summer and winter vegetables and fruits, in addition to cheese, yoghurt and kiosk, indicating that the training provided to them helped them obtain a grant amounting to 5 million pounds and operating loans that enabled them to produce and market.

Najat Jamal Al-Din is among the participants who received training and a grant from the Municipality. She explained that she was able to open her workshop again, which was destroyed as a result of the war in the town of Zamalka, in the countryside of Damascus. It is specialized in manufacturing handmade accessories and traditional jewelry, after the training she underwent in the Municipality. She obtained the grant and currently participates in exhibitions and bazaars. Being the only way to market her business, she confirmed that the project helped her a lot in improving her living, being the sole breadwinner for her family and living in a rented house.

And from Harasta, Warda Al-Halbouni mentioned that the Syrian Municipality invited her to participate in the bazaar through home-made food products, pointing out that this is the first time that she participates in a bazaar, and it is an important opportunity to market women’s products and meet new customers to expand the marketing of their products in a way that contributes to supporting their families. economically and socially.

Mona Al-Mahmoud from Barzeh indicated that her participation in the bazaar came after she underwent a training course in Al-Manara on how to make crochet and wool, and said: The training gave her the strength to increase her production and market it through the bazaars.
