Imprisoned Belarusian opposition leader Maria Kolesnikova was transferred to Tipu intensive care unit due to her deteriorating medical condition, Telegram channels affiliated with the opposition in the country reported.
According to the report, Kolesnikova was transferred to a hospital in the city of Hummel in the east of the country.
It was also reported that her lawyer was not allowed to visit the place.
The leader of the exiled opposition Svetlana Tikhnovskaya commented on the news and said: "Terrible news. Dear Masha, we hope you will be okay. Dear Belarusians, if you know anything about Kolesnikova's condition, tell the journalists. Don't let the regime silence her condition."
