Brutal attack on Moosburger: Schwager hits the head with a hammer
According to previous investigations, the man who lives in Canada had traveled to Germany to clarify family matters with his brother-in-law.

six in the morning in Moosburg

In front of the victim's apartment building, the suspect caught his
53-year-old relative
and hit his head with a hammer he was carrying.
When passers-by became aware of the crime and rushed to help, the 41-year-old fled in a rental car.

The victim suffered potentially life-threatening head injuries and was taken to hospital.
The Erding criminal police took over the investigation on site and initiated extensive search measures.
In fact, the 41-year-old was arrested in a hotel in Landshut in the evening.
The responsible public prosecutor's office in Landshut applied for an arrest warrant on suspicion of attempted murder, which was put into effect by the responsible judge. The suspect was transferred to a prison.
