Five people were injured in a building fire in Yekaterinburg, in the Ural region, central Russia.
"The fire that broke out on Tchaikovsky Street led to the transfer of 3 people to hospital, two of them seriously, while two others received first aid," TASS news agency quoted the Russian Ministry of Health's regional office as saying.
The cause of the fire, which broke out on the third floor of a nine-storey building, is not yet known. Residents have been evacuated, and a temporary accommodation facility has been prepared for them.
