Three years have passed since Bichl's musical talents last met in the "Bayerisches Löwen" for a musical rendezvous.

Now "Musi mach ma mitanand" could take place again - with a large number of participants and in front of many spectators.

Bichl – Entertainment, amazement and applause were well catered for.

Because what was performed by the little ones in the children's choir led by Kathi Pössenbacher, through to the well-known veterans Ulrich Leopold, Eberhard Bauer and Benedikt Schöffmann, as well as by the local church choir, was a colorful and well-tolerated mixture of folk songs, folk music, classical music and world music.

At the 18th edition of the event on Saturday, moderated by Mayor Benedikt Pössenbacher, young instrumentalists were again present, who performed here in a new formation or even made their first appearance with more or less stage fright.

Founded by Konrad Hundhammer and Sepp Schmid

Pössenbacher thanked the former church choir director Konrad Hundhammer, who was also present, who had initiated the singers' and musicians' meeting and brought it to the stage together with the then mayor Sepp Schmid.

“From beginner to professional” has since been the motto of the evening, which Kathi Pössenbacher and Christine Demmel have been organizing for many years.

A wide range of instruments, which were used in different configurations, provided a varied sound experience: dulcimer, guitar, ziach, flute, violin, trumpet, saxophone and piano, Jew's harp and ocarina and many more were part of the party.

Vocally, the selection was much smaller - a development that has been apparent for a long time.

In addition to the choirs, only Benedikt Schöffmann was vocally represented in Bichl, but all the more original with the song about the fall of man and the beauty queen of Schneizlreuth.

After an official program that was richly filled overall, the game continued in a convivial atmosphere.
