A former security detainee suspected of promoting terrorist activity was arrested in Jenin during an activity by the fighters of the undercover unit of the Iosh Police Force and the General Security Service.

Nasser Ghanem, a former security detainee suspected of promoting terrorist activity, was arrested today (Tuesday) in Jenin during an activity by the fighters of the undercover unit of the Iosh Police and the General Security Service.
The forces prepared for action, and upon receiving the intelligence, carried out the arrest in broad daylight.
Ganem was transferred to the General Security Service for investigation.
About a week ago, the security forces worked to arrest another wanted Palestinian in Jenin, named Ratab al-Bali, 21 years old. Many forces were sent to the area, and a lot of gunfire was heard in the area, which according to Palestinian reports included an explosion near the building.
After a while, al-Bali surrendered himself to the IDF forces without casualties. Army officials said that al-Bali planned an attack. The IDF spokesman confirmed the publications.
The force that operated on the spot was composed of the Navy, the Haruv Patrol and the Special Forces.
The wanted person was arrested after leaving the building where he was found.
Peripheral gunfire was fired in the area, after gunmen were identified on rooftops and at intersections.
According to Palestinian sources, two wounded were taken to the hospital.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health later reported that one of them died of his wounds.
