Today, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Authority announced the implementation of a security operation in the Kokjali area of Mosul, in the north of the country.
The Iraqi News Agency (INA) quoted a statement by the authority as saying: "A force from the 30th Brigade in the Hashd carried out an operation within the sector of responsibility in the Kokjali area, east of Mosul.
The statement indicated that the operation will continue until its objectives are achieved and the security risks surrounding the area are averted.
