In the Baden-Baden trial for the murder of a six-year-old, the accused was sentenced to life imprisonment.
The regional court also found that the guilt was particularly serious on Tuesday.
It was considered proven that the 34-year-old killed the girl with a knife on the night of December 19 last year and attacked the corpse.
