Personal mobility in five cities in Israel is expected to receive a significant boost in the coming weeks with the start of a collaboration between Lime and Uber.
As part of the collaboration between the two companies, Lime's collaborative scooters and bicycles will be available for rent through the Uber app operating in Israel as a continuation and complement to the app's taxi ride service.

The announcement of the collaboration between Uber and Lime was made against the background of the launch of Lime's shared bikes in Tel Aviv, and following Uber's announcement of a return to activity in Israel, this time as a platform for taxi rides, since in Israel it is not possible to make shared trips for a fee as is customary in the world.
The cooperation between the companies already exists in 180 cities in 20 countries around the world and in Israel it will start operating in the first phase in the cities of Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Holon and Petah Tikva.
According to both companies, the service is expected to expand to other cities in Israel soon.
