Due to an error in Aldi's checkout system, a Munich resident saved on his purchases.

He presents his "booty" piled up on the web.

Munich – When products are on sale, many buyers jump right in.

Especially when it comes to noodles, which it can't hurt to have some supplies in the cupboard.

Apparently that's what a person from Munich thought when he bought a noodle bargain at Aldi.

He packed four packs of XXL Barilla spaghetti – each weighing a kilo – to take home.

Aldi: Munich benefits from checkout errors – only 3.60 euros instead of 7.56 euros

On the receipt, he then states that Aldi must have made a mistake.

He then posted his price error along with photos directly in the Jodel app.

In the app, users share photos of their food, bizarre discoveries or everyday situations, for example.

In the first image, the user accurately piled the four packages of Barilla pasta on top of each other, the next shows the receipt as proof.

He writes: "For 3.60, thanks to errors in Aldi's checkout system".

The pasta packs are actually priced at 1.89 euros, the regular price of the XXL pack is 2.85 euros.

So they were already almost a euro cheaper.

However, the Munich resident received them for 90 cents a piece.

Only the product name "Barilla Spaghetti N.5" can be read on the receipt.

So it could well be that the barcode is wrong and the checkout therefore assumed a normal 500 gram pack.

Aldi checkout error: "Strong, nice snapper!"

A user probably didn't notice either that it was a one-kilo pack.

He comments: “They also cost 90 cents for us.

No matter if no.

1 or no.

5. And 4x90 is 3.60.

So where is the mistake?“.

Others are not quite so on the hose.

"Strong, nice snapper!" Someone, for example, says happily for the man from Munich.

In a department store in Landsberg am Lech, there was also a price error recently.

A product only cost one cent.

After the customer noticed this on the receipt, he went back and bought a larger one.

It remains to be seen whether the Munich-based company also intends to do this with the Barilla pasta or whether Aldi has already noticed the mistake.
