Big fire in Berlin: A discounter burned down completely on Monday evening in the Friedrichshagen district of Berlin.
Berlin – The fire broke out shortly before midnight on Monday evening in a Netto store in Berlin.
The fire brigade was on site with around 109 forces, the Berlin fire brigade tweeted.
"On the Müggelseedamm, a food market is burning in full," it said on Twitter.
In addition, the emergency services posted photos of the major fire on Berlin's Müggelsee.
The grocery store is on fire at this point.
The roof collapsed completely.
The emergency services extinguished the fire from the outside using two turntable ladders.

Nobody was injured in the fire.
The supermarket was already closed when the fire broke out, reports rbb.
People in the neighboring apartment buildings could stay in their own four walls.
"The fire is under control," tweeted the Berlin fire department on Tuesday morning.

Early Tuesday morning, the Berlin fire department reported on Twitter that the fire was under control.
Hardly anything is left of the net market.
The cause of the major fire is still unclear.
