The issue of the Iskenderun District and the inevitability of its retrieval did not turn into a forgotten past as long as the Syrians clung to their insistence on regaining their rights, and retrieving every inch of the soil of their land, no matter how long the years and decades have passed since its plundering... Despite the passage of 83 years since the crime of flaying and usurping the district, the struggle will not stop to retrieve it and return it to the motherland.

The heinous crime that was carried out under a tripartite agreement between Turkey and the French and British occupation at the time coincided with the attempts of the parties involved in it to consolidate their occupation policy, through illegal practices such as the Turkification of the district and its villages, which extend over an area of 4,800 square kilometers, and are inhabited by more than 1 million people, most of whom are Arabs. Syrians.

The Alexandretta district was robbed and its wealth plundered in 1939 after falsifying facts and facts, according to the aforementioned tripartite agreement. However, the chapters of what was conspired against decades ago are still continuing through the practices of the current Turkish regime, and its attempts to redraw the same scenario, through attacks on Syrian territory and support for terrorists in Northern Syria for years.

After the brigade was plundered, the Syrians were subjected to harassment campaigns by the successive Turkish regimes that lasted for decades, and caused the displacement of many of them, in parallel with the transfer of thousands of Turks by the Turkish occupier and their settlement in the brigade, with the aim of changing its Arab-Syrian identity, starting with changing the names of the villages and their demographic character, and so on. of attempts at Turkification.

It was not present in the colonial plans, on the day of stopping at the borders of the brigade’s skinning, but rather conspiracies continued to seize other Syrian lands, and this was evident in the continuous Turkish aggression led by the Erdogan regime to support terrorist organizations and achieve other expansionist ambitions, and what are the crimes of bombing the homes of safe Syrians in northern Syria and cutting off water The continuous reporting of the people in the city of Al-Hasakah and the crimes of stealing gas, antiquities, oil and economic facilities are only simple examples of these ambitions and schemes.

And with the Turkish role being repeated with the continuous attacks it has been carrying out for more than 11 years, and the massacres and brutal crimes it has committed against the Syrians, the Syrians are increasingly insisting on their right to recover what was stolen from their lands, including the Iskenderun district... This right will not be forfeited by statute of limitations or with the passage of time.
