Saadallah Al-Jabri Square in the city of Aleppo witnessed a vigil on the 83rd anniversary of the detachment of the Iskenderun District from the motherland of Syria, under the title "The brigade is Arab-Syrian from eternity to eternity... Returning to the homeland."

Shaheen al-Hajji, head of the Association of the Sons of Iskenderun al-Sulaib, which organized the sit-in, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that they wanted from this stand to protest against the systematic Turkification policies in the Iskenderun district and currently in northern Syria, pointing out that the brigade will always remain in the national memory and the struggle continues until it returns to the bosom of The homeland is Syria.

Jamal Nasla, the association's managing director, confirmed that the Iskenderun district is a Syrian Arab from time immemorial, and that the Syrian geography is one and unified, indicating that the occupation, no matter how long it takes, will end.

Imad Adban, head of the Office of Culture, Preparation and Sub-Information, explained that his participation in the vigil came to confirm that the Turkish aggression against northern Syria and its attempt to plunder other parts of the homeland are a failure, and that he will not be able to change its Syrian identity, no matter how aggressive methods it follows.

For his part, Mustafa Wazzan, head of the Workers Union in Aleppo, indicated that the Alexandretta Brigade is an integral part of the Syrian territory and a right that will return to its owners no matter how long it takes with the efforts of the Syrian Arab Army.

Jumaa Al-Tarab, a faculty member at the University of Aleppo, stressed that the Iskenderun Province is Arab and will return to its owners, and the right of the Syrian people does not fall by statute of limitations.. Citizen Haitham Ziada explained that the stand is for solidarity and protest against all forms of occupation, whether Turkish or American, and to emphasize that the right does not die.

The participant in the stand, Umm Musa, confirmed that the Syrian lands will inevitably return as long as there is support from a wise leadership represented by President Bashar al-Assad and the valor of an army that achieved victories in defense of the homeland.
