Today, Ebdaa Microfinance Bank - Syria opened a new branch in the Engineers Syndicate building in Al-Arbaeen neighborhood in the city of Homs.
And the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, Adel Muhammad Ali Bala, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the opening of the branch comes within the bank's strategy to spread in various Syrian governorates to serve the largest possible segment, especially that Homs is a large province and has a wide segment of producers in need of microfinance services provided by the bank.
Bella pointed out that the bank provides multiple financial services that include a number of sector projects, including craft, agricultural and commercial sectors, in addition to saving and deposit services for small producers. sectors.
In turn, the CEO of the bank, Adeeb Sharaf, stated that all segments that could not benefit from traditional financial services are a target for financing by the bank on easy and concessional terms. The loan ceiling currently amounts to 5 million Syrian pounds, and it is expected that it will become ten million Syrian pounds at the beginning of next year, with annual benefits amounting to 18 percent, explaining that the bank has 12 branches in the Syrian governorates, and a special application will soon be launched that allows beneficiaries and those wishing to borrow to apply for lending requests from anywhere.
The opening of the bank branch was attended by the Governor of Homs, Eng. Namir Makhlouf, and a number of economic and administrative events in the governorate.
