The Palestinian resistance factions stressed the necessity of activating the political movement and expanding the circle of effective solidarity with the Palestinian cause in order to gain global support in its struggle to overthrow the Zionist scheme, restore all its legitimate rights and establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The factions stated in a statement on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, a copy of which SANA received, that this day has become an important annual occasion celebrated by the Palestinian people in all their places of existence, to renew the covenant to continue the struggle until achieving its aspirations and hopes for successful independence and to turn it into a call and a clear message to all bodies and institutions. The United Nations to do justice to the Palestinian people, lift the injustice against them, and call for imposing complete isolation on the criminal Zionist occupation entity and prosecute it legally for its rebellion against all international legitimacy resolutions related to the Palestinian cause.
The factions stressed the need to develop a Palestinian political strategy of resistance that rises to the level of the sacrifices of the Palestinian people, and to continue all forms of resistance as a means to liberate Palestine, so that it will return to a free, liberated, complete and undiminished state.
On the twenty-ninth of November of each year, the world commemorates the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which was approved by the United Nations General Assembly in 1977, to affirm solidarity with the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent, sovereign state with its capital.
