Royals insider reveals: Queen Elizabeth II is said to have had bone marrow cancer

Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, 2022. The British monarch had sat on the throne for 70 years.

As a Royals insider now reveals, she is said to have suffered from bone marrow cancer.

London – Hardly any head of state has had such an unshakeable presence around the world as Queen Elizabeth II († 96).

During the seven decades of her reign - the longest of all time - she was regarded both as one of the last symbols of the monarchy and as a thoroughly likeable and humorous woman who fulfilled her duties with great love and dedication.

When the news of her death became public on September 8, it shook the whole world and triggered a wave of grief - both in England and in countries far away from the British royal family.

On the death certificate of Queen Elizabeth II, the cause of death on September 29 was only given by Buckingham Palace as old age.

Previously, however, a picture of the monarch taken while greeting former British Prime Minister Liz Truss (47) had sparked speculation about a possible illness.

Brandreth (74) reveals that the Queen is said to have suffered from bone marrow cancer before her death.

"I had heard that the Queen had a form of myeloma - bone marrow cancer, which might explain her fatigue, weight loss and mobility issues that have been talked about a lot over the past year." no cure has been found, mainly for bone pain in the pelvis and lower back, affecting many older people.

Despite the revelation of her cancer, Queen Elizabeth II is described as very fit by many who meet her in the days leading up to her death, according to Gyles Brandreth.

"It was so lively and thrilling," remembers pastor Dr.

Iain Greenshields.

"She was brilliant," racehorse trainer Clive Cox recalls when he last met the Queen on September 6, when they reportedly discussed upcoming competitions.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also found the regent in exceptionally good form, describing her as full of "characteristic humor and wisdom".

"She could hardly have been more kind, sympathetic or personally encouraging," enthuses the politician about the meeting.

According to Gyles Brandreth, it was nothing unusual that the reason for death was “old age” despite this supposed diagnosis.

The term refers to many cases in which patients are older than 80 years and the doctor treating them has observed their slow decline in health.

"We have been concerned about the Queen's health for a number of months.

It was to be expected and we were very aware of what was about to happen," explains Elizabeth II's attending physician, Dr.
