Ryabkov explained that Russia had no other choice but to postpone consultations on the New START Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.
Ryabkov said: In general, the situation developed so that we had no other choice and the decision was taken at the political level, noting that in a number of axes the American counterparts did not want to perceive our signals.
Ryabkov stressed that this is not a cancellation but a postponement, and after some time we will offer the Americans new dates, but this will not happen quickly.
