Politics is not a street fight, it is a democratic confrontation.
It is born of the choice of the French people and of universal suffrage, it is embodied in our Assembly.
If on June 19, the French did not want us to have an absolute majority, they above all clearly rejected any cohabitation.
Therefore, only one question exists: what coherent majority can there be within the Assembly?
Some would like the form to preempt the major divisions that oppose us.
By dint of praising "this new Assembly", as if the old one did not know the words "compromise" or "debate", we forget that 30% of it is made up of two extremist projects.
We finally allow ourselves to be taken advantage of, forgetting to fight them for what they are and what they could be in power.

From the extreme right, we comment on his ties and his polished tone.
Skillful and pernicious maneuver that manages to make people forget the ideology that brings them together.
And when, inadvertently, one of their deputies brings to light the xenophobic DNA of the National Rally, we comment for 24 hours before a new controversy arises when others pretend to be surprised that the far right is far right.
From the extreme left, we remember the tone, the cries, the vociferations.
Another maneuver to better discredit our Assembly: the din and the din prevail over the debate, as if any expression of nuance became a weakness whereas it is precisely the guarantee of harmony in our society.
Neither far right nor far left can – fortunately – claim a parliamentary majority.
On the other hand, they can attempt alliances with the sole objective of placing us in the minority.
They're doing it.
They then stand up to applaud each other, demonstrating at the same time that they are two sides of the same coin.
Who chose the path of filibuster?
This is La France Insoumise.

So-called government parties indulge in adding their votes to theirs.
Ignoring divisions and all political battles, the will to defeat the government takes precedence over any political coherence.
They will be surprised tomorrow to be increasingly discredited by not even succeeding in crossing the 5% mark in national elections.
They did it to refuse border control in the event of an epidemic crisis.
They did it to spend, always more, and to tax, always more.
And they attempted to do so to reintegrate unvaccinated caregivers into health facilities.
We then defeated them.

Let's dwell on this subject as it is illuminating of this “new Assembly”, of parliamentary life and of the attempts to exploit the opposition.
The question of the reintegration of unvaccinated personnel should not be a political question but a question of scientific and medical ethics, a question of responsibility.
LFI, and tomorrow the RN, have chosen to make it a bill ignoring 99% of caregivers who were vaccinated during the health crisis and overwhelmingly refuse that a handful of antivax staff can tomorrow exercise again at their sides.
Or let's go to the end of the logic: let's remove all the compulsory vaccines in the hospital!
And tomorrow, let's stop requiring them for any entry into a nursery.
Let's even stop any flu vaccination campaign!
Who chose the path of filibuster?

Propose an exorbitant number of PPL and change at the last moment the agenda of our Assembly to attempt a political coup, it is obstruction!
Touring all the media on the question of bullfighting for a pure show of form and not even opening this debate in the Assembly is obstruction!
As always, let us remember the 19,000 amendments on the pension reform, LFI prevents any possibility of balanced and contradictory debate.
Obstruction is his business!
In the game of demagoguery and conspiracy, the extreme left and extreme right - and outdated oppositions - will always be victorious over our majority.
But our duty is precisely to assume what we are and what we carry as political battles: science before beliefs, responsibility before populism.

We are convinced that this observation is shared beyond our benches, beyond our majority.
Our hand will always be extended to those deputies who want to build for our country, who wish to create the consensus expected by the French, who are ready for the transformation of our country and the affirmation of our republican values.
We say to them clearly: let us carry together this hope of a genuine new Assembly.
