The sanctions have been stopped - the trips will resume:

after applying to the National Labor Court, the organization of secondary teachers headed by Ran Erez came to the Ministry of Finance and Local Government's understanding.

This means that this is the end of the teachers' sanctions.

These have not performed any activity or work in recent weeks since the end of the school day (end of the eighth hour).

That is, they did not participate in meetings, trips, school or extracurricular activities outside of the regular school day.

The parties reached an understanding that the disruptions in extracurricular activities, including the trips, will be stopped immediately, and the teachers will return to full activity.

As part of the agreement, the teachers in the upper divisions will receive an additional NIS 35 million in the welfare fund, which is intended for their well-being and to improve their employment conditions.

The parties also agreed on industrial peace until March 25, 2023, and at the same time they will enter into intensive negotiations for the purpose of formulating a new collective agreement that will improve the conditions of employment and wages of the super elementary teachers.

The chairman of the local government center, Haim Bibbs, said: "We support the teachers, the local government employees, who are engaged in the most important role - the education of our children, and we will continue to work to promote their working conditions and wages."
