The Iranian footballers are under surveillance by the regime in their country • They received threats in the form of arrest and torture if they do not behave in accordance with the demands • An official from the security system of the World Cup: "Iran sent 'fans' on its behalf who will create fake support in the stands"

Agents of the Revolutionary Guards and the players of the Iranian national team:

The American CNN network reported yesterday (Monday) that the families of the players of the Iranian national team in the World Cup are under surveillance by the regime's security services in the country, and have received serious threats in the form of arrest and torture if the players do not "behave" accordingly hours before the decisive game at the World Cup in Qatar.

An official involved in the security organization of the tournament in Qatar told the American network anonymously that agents of the Revolutionary Guards are in the principality and even held a meeting with the Iranian players after the loss against England.

This after the players refused to sing the national anthem in front of the eyes of the world at the beginning of the game.

According to the source, agents of the Islamic Republic told the players that their families would face 'violence and torture' if they did not sing the national anthem or if they showed support for anti-regime protests.

He further added that a separate meeting was also held between the members of the Revolutionary Guards and the coach of the Iranian national team, the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz.

"There are a large number of Iranian security officers in Qatar gathering information and monitoring the players," the anonymous source confirmed.

"In the last game against Wales, the regime sent hundreds of 'support players' in order to create a false sense of support and kindness among the fans. For the next game against the USA, the regime plans to significantly increase the number of players to thousands," he concluded.

As you may recall, the Islamic Republic has been witnessing stormy demonstrations against the regime for three months after the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old young woman who was arrested on September 16 by the regime's modesty police because she did not fully cover her head with the traditional hijab.

She was severely beaten and later died of her injuries in hospital.

So far there are about 400 Iranian citizens killed throughout the country, including women and children.
