Indictments were filed this morning (Tuesday) against two family members from Jaljulia, 21 years old, for extortion and possession of illegal weapons.
The investigation against the two was opened last August, after a report of two shooting incidents at buildings in Tira and Yavneh.
The investigation revealed that the background is actually a criminal dispute.
As the investigation progressed, three guns and cartridges were found in the home of one of the young men.
The findings of the MZP revealed that there is a connection between the equipment and the shooting events. Therefore, indictments were filed against the two, and the police requested to extend their detention until the end of the proceedings.

Earlier this week, an 18-year-old man was moderately injured by a gunshot on Zebulon Hamer Road near the Eifron junction.
A preliminary investigation of the case revealed that two motorcyclists opened fire at each other near Tel Aviv and continued shooting while driving on Route 5. The MDA team that was called to the scene gave the young man initial medical treatment and evacuated him to Bilinson Hospital while he was conscious and suffering from penetrating injuries.
