Free bus travel on the second Saturday in Advent: Two lines in the district can be used free of charge on this day.
Fürstenfeldbruck - On the second Saturday in Advent, December 3rd, the district of Fürstenfeldbruck invites you to take a free public transport taster trip on the MVV tangential bus lines 822 and 860.
From the start of operations to the end of operations, any number of journeys within the district area are possible.
This is reported by the public transport department in the district office.
The aim of the district is not to lose sight of important goals such as climate protection and the turnaround in traffic on site, despite the current situation with high living costs as a result of the war of aggression against Ukraine.
Free trial rides were already offered on the car-free Sunday.
Line 822 and Line 860
Line 822 connects Mammendorf, Adelshofen, Jesenwang, Landsberied and Schöngeising with the district town of Fürstenfeldbruck every 40 minutes on Saturdays from around 5:15 a.m. to around 9:30 p.m.
Line 860 connects the eastern district of Germering via Puchheim, Eichenau to Olching, every 20 minutes on Saturdays from around 5:15 a.m. to around 10:45 p.m.

With the free public transport trial rides, pre-Christmas shopping on Saturday, December 3rd, is possible in a relaxed manner without parking stress and in a climate-friendly manner, according to the district office.
In the afternoon, for example, there is the opportunity to meet friends at one of the Christmas and Advent markets or to take beautiful and relaxing walks along the routes, according to the public transport department.
In order to prevent misunderstandings, the Fürstenfeldbruck district office points out that the campaign relates to journeys that are within the Fürstenfeldbruck district.
If the Freiham stop (Munich area) is approached, the regular MVV tariff applies from the district border.
