Weather in Germany: Siberian cold "creeps around us" - experts still speak of frost

It doesn't seem to be the really big onset of winter yet, but it's creeping closer and closer to Germany.
A weather expert classifies the current forecasts.
Wiesbaden – Winter is slowly but surely approaching Germany, and towards the end of the month the daily values continue to fall.
The really big onset of winter is likely to slip past Germany, but many regions in Germany still have to reckon with cold air.
A weather expert speaks of frost and possibly even snowfall.

As qualified meteorologist Dominik Jung, managing director of the weather service

, the weather phase between the 1st and 2nd Advent should be “exciting”.
Although the really bad cold over Germany shouldn't happen for the time being, it "sneaks around us and could sometimes touch us in the northern half of Germany".
The daily values will therefore continue to fall in the coming days, the cold "remains very close to us all the time".
Temperatures should usually level off at around four to eight degrees.
As the weather expert goes on to explain, the Siberian cold is slowly making its way to Europe, but it is said to be moving north of Germany.
"Of course, the cold can also slide further south for a short time and hit us in Germany.
But we'll have to wait and see for that," said Jung.
On some days, light frost or even snowfall can be expected in the region, as a weather expert explained a few days ago.
Winter over Germany initially brings more rain and cold
"It rains every now and then.
Not much comes down, but overall it's pretty uncomfortable, ”continues the weather expert.
The dreary weather is expected to last until at least Friday.
The second weekend in Advent should also be quite cool.
"Everything also depends on how the cold high from Siberia will develop in the coming days.
There are still uncertainties.
Perhaps the cold air will seep further into Germany than is currently calculated by the weather models.
It's going to be very exciting," says qualified meteorologist Dominik Jung.
