“A great sadness”: Chuck Norris pays tribute to Clarence Gilyard Jr, his friend in Walker, Texas Ranger

“It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of a dear friend and co-star, Clarence Gilyard.

For nearly a decade, we had a great time working together and we both loved bringing the bad guys to justice

The post is accompanied by a black and white photo taken on the set of the series.

The bond between the two men is undeniable.

“My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children.

You will be deeply missed by all who knew you.

May you rest in peace, my friend.
