A 20-year-old man was killed tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday) when his vehicle overturned into a ditch on the side of Highway 899 near Moshav Yaera towards the Hanita intersection.
MDA medics and paramedics who were called to the scene had to pronounce him dead.
A senior medic at MDA Dor Vakanin said: "The wounded man was lying on the road next to a car that was leaning on its side while he was unconscious and suffering from a multi-system injury.
We performed medical tests, he was without signs of life and unfortunately we had no choice but to determine his death."

The Israel Police stated that "the driver of a private vehicle lost control of his vehicle and overturned into a ditch on the side of the road. As a result of the accident, the driver of the vehicle, whose final identity is not yet known, was seriously injured (according to medical officials) and was pronounced dead at the scene."
The traffic examiners of the Israel Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
About an hour later, another traffic accident was reported: a 40-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Moshe Dayan Boulevard in Jerusalem.
MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated the man to Hadassah Hospital in Mount Scopus with serious injuries to his limbs.
Shortly after the accident, Magen David Adom teams were called to deal with another car accident between 2 vehicles on Route 4 near Beit Hanania.
MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated 6 injured to Hillel Yaffe Hospital, including: a man and a woman in their 50s in moderate condition, with chest and abdominal injuries, and 4 injured in light condition.
