Rabbi Balla said that the initiative came after the agreement of understanding for cooperation between the military rabbis stationed in Europe to streamline and improve the religious needs of the soldiers that was held at the conference of European rabbis held in Munich about six months ago.

"There is a lot of benefit from the exchange of information and mutual assistance in all the fields that actually maintain distant rapprochement, and we are blessed that we were privileged to write a Torah book in this framework and deliver it to Jewish soldiers, especially in these difficult days."

At the end of the ceremony, the rabbis were destined for a work session and exchange of information and assistance between the military rabbis.

Rabbi Cohen said that the information and cooperation with the rabbis helps him a lot in his continued work for the Jewish soldiers.

"We must remember that a military rabbinate did not exist in Ukraine and I have the responsibility to take care of all their needs. I learned a lot from my friends and in Israel I will be able to serve them properly."
