A two-month-old toddler passed away last night (Tuesday) in Ashdod.
The MDA team that evacuated her to the hospital performed resuscitation attempts on her, but despite the efforts she was eventually pronounced dead.
The hospital stated that "it is a heart defect".
David Hajabi, a medic at the Rescue Union, said: "According to her family members, she lost consciousness while eating. I performed CPR on her with the help of other medics, and then she was taken in an intensive care unit to Asuta Hospital while CPR continued in critical condition."
