Former US President Bill Clinton announced on Wednesday November 30 that he had tested positive for Covid and suffered from “
mild symptoms
”.

," tweeted the 76-year-old Democrat, who served in the White House from 1993-2001

on “everyone to do the same, especially as winter approaches
”.
The 42nd US President had been hospitalized in October 2021 with a urinary tract infection that had spread to the bloodstream, causing sepsis.
Bill Clinton has had many health issues in the past.
In particular, he had to be hospitalized in 2004, when he underwent a quadruple coronary bypass to free four clogged arteries, and in 2010 when he underwent angioplasty.

After leaving the White House, he got involved in many humanitarian and diplomatic causes.
He has traveled the world, as much to participate in generously remunerated conferences as to visit disaster-stricken regions or raise funds for the fight against AIDS.
Gradually, his pace slowed.
He remains involved in his foundation, supported his wife's - unsuccessful - campaign against Donald Trump in 2016, but travels less.
