Kranhäuser penthouse for sale in Cologne – new neighbor for Lukas Podolski?

The crane houses in Cologne are considered real landmarks.

There are now three apartments for sale.

These are just bursting with luxury - and have a proud price.

Cologne – The Cologne Crane Houses are not only considered a real landmark in Cologne, they have also shaped the Cologne skyline alongside the Cologne Cathedral and the Colonius since 2011.

They also stand for pure luxury.

Many a Cologne resident has certainly imagined what the apartments or even the penthouse might look like, or how expensive it is to live in the Kranhaus.

Becoming a neighbor of Lukas Podolski: Kranhäuser apartments for sale

After all, even the "King of Cologne", Lukas Podolski, lives in one of the four penthouse apartments in the Kranhäuser, reports 24RHEIN.de.

And it is precisely from Prince Poldi that one can now become a neighbor.

Because one of the top floor apartments is now actually for sale - just like two other apartments.

They are offered by Sotheby's International Realty.

In addition to one of the penthouse apartments, there are also two apartments on the 17th floor - the second to last floor - for sale.

The two 3-room apartments with around 170 square meters are significantly smaller than the penthouse apartment with 225 square meters.

However, the three apartments have one thing in common: They are not only incredibly luxurious, but also quite expensive.

"Breathtaking - sensational - unique - unimaginable - impressive", says the synopsis of the penthouse.

"The entrance area opens up completely to the approx. 80 m² living area, which also houses the exclusive designer kitchen including a large cooking island."

There are also bedrooms, children's or guest rooms, a study, a dressing room, two bathrooms including a sauna and a 115 square meter roof terrace including a whirlpool, fireplace, lounge and dining area.

It is not known how expensive the penthouse is.

The purchase price will only be given "upon request", according to Sotheby's International Realty.

The situation is different for the two apartments on the 17th floor.

Here buyers have to shell out 4.25 million or 4.6 million.

There is a bedroom, a dressing room, two bathrooms, a guest room and an open living-dining area.

The 3-room apartments are already fully furnished.

“The apartment was not only furnished with a lot of love and taste, but also with incredibly high-quality materials.

Special components made of Corian can be found in the kitchen and bathroom,” is one of the things it says.

“An inner wall was elaborately reinforced for the floating kitchen.

The back wall of the kitchen can be used in different colors to give a special expression to the mood of the situation.”

However, there is still a shortcoming with one apartment: the apartment for 4,250,000 euros is currently rented.

The lease runs until December 2024. The exposé also reveals how expensive the rent for the Kranhaus apartment is.

The cold rent is 8350 euros, plus additional costs of 1250 euros.
