The Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Engineer Muhammad Hassan Qatana, discussed with the Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Iranian-Syrian People's Friendship Association, Dr. Hassan Shakhasi, the existing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of exchanging agricultural products and technologies.
Our cat reviewed the Syrian needs of fertilizers, fodder and tractors, pointing out that there is a surplus in some agricultural products that have high specifications and quality and are available for export or barter in exchange for products that Syria needs from Iran, stressing the importance of coordination with all parties to put the proposed cooperation programs into practice according to a specific timetable.
For his part, Shakhasi pointed out the importance of these visits and direct and continuous communication to present ideas, answer all questions, and overcome all difficulties facing the implementation of contracts concluded between the two parties.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Agriculture and a representative of the Planning and International Cooperation Authority.
