Serious accident on the A995: BMW flies out of the curve and crashes into a tree - driver seriously injured

A serious accident occurred on Tuesday night on the A995 near Taufkirchen.

Late Tuesday evening there was a serious accident on the A995 near Taufkirchen.
A BMW was traveling too fast and went off the road.
Taufkirchen – Tuesday night, a serious accident occurred on the A995 near Taufkirchen (Munich district).
A BMW driver obviously did not adjust his speed to the road conditions and went off the road in a bend.
He crashed into a tree and was seriously injured.
Accident on the A995: BMW corners too fast and flies out
As the Holzkirchen motorway police wrote in their press release, the accident happened around 8:30 p.m.
A 72-year-old man from the Ebersberg district was on the A995 near the Sauerlach junction in the direction of the Munich South motorway junction.
In the curve, as he was about to exit the junction, his BMW 5 Series lost traction and went off the road.
Based on the location of the tracks, the police suspected that the speed was too high.
On the rain-soaked road, the man and his car slipped into the ditch.
There he threw about 100 meters further into a field and crashed into a tree there.
Rescue workers, the fire brigade and the police were notified immediately.
Rescuers were able to get the man out of his car.
However, he sustained serious injuries in the accident.
He was taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance.

Accident on the A995: the police assume that the speed is too high
The highway then had to be closed for about two hours to clear and clean the scene of the accident.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
