The Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva announced today (Wednesday) that Issa Hani Talkat, a 14-year-old boy who had been hospitalized since election day after being hit by a gunshot, died of his wounds.

According to the police's version, during election day, a riot broke out in one of the polling stations in Arara and unknown persons tried to remove the ballot boxes from the place.

At those moments, a car drove against the direction of traffic into the commotion and a policeman who was there opened fire.

However, media outlets in the Arabic language reported that the incident happened during the celebrations of one of the Arab parties for the election results.
