The Tunisian team registered a sensation this evening (Wednesday) with a prestigious 0:1 victory over the world champions, France.
The Tunisians looked better than the tricolor throughout most of the game, and a goal by Wahbi Hazari (58) beat Steve Mandanda.
Antoine Griezmann's equalizing goal (98) was disallowed due to a foul, but even with the victory Tunisia was eliminated in the group stage after Australia's 0:1 victory over Denmark.
The broadcast of the game in France, on the TF1 channel, was interrupted immediately after the final whistle and Griezmann's goal, so the viewers were not aware of the disqualification after the VAR decision.
The channel did not apologize for this.
