Dana ben Avraham, the daughter of Yaakov ben Avraham, who is accused of murdering his partner and her mother Yael at the beginning of this month in Herzliya, told today (Wednesday) about her feelings in court in an interview with Aryeh Eldad on fm103.
"I had a hard day, I thought twice about leaving the house to go to court," she said.
"It's not an easy decision and even since the incident, I just don't leave the house. And today I was there in court. My father was not physically present. They showed him on a zoom camera."
Ben Avraham is accused of stabbing his wife following a dispute over separation and division of property.

"No. On the day of the murder, I collapsed and was evacuated to a hospital. After that, the police called me to come for questioning, and when I was being questioned, I was informed that my father was in the next room, and I was of course in a storm of emotions, torn between two worlds and asked to see him. I had not yet digested. When I entered In the room, he was handcuffed and I showed him the bracelet on his hand from the hospital. I said to him, 'Dad, I collapsed, what happened there?'
And he just cried. He said to me, 'Why did you come? Why did you bring her?'
And he left the room."
"The writing here was not on the wall. The decision to divorce was sudden, on my mother's part. And we, as her daughters, tried to sort it out because we didn't understand why, and she said, 'Don't get involved.' She felt no longer loved and wanted to be loved. Sort of depression. I told her, 'Mom, you're experiencing something. Come on, I'll take you to treatment,' and she wasn't ready. But the type of divorce was good. The agreement was that she and my father split the property half and half, and then he leaves the apartment she's renting and he comes to me. He He should have been here with me and helped me with the children. Then the worst thing happened. I don't know how it happened all of a sudden."

"True. I lost my mother and my father as well. It is impossible to describe how smart and smiling she was to me in her life and she transmitted that to us as well as her protection and joy, and my father was a working person, a normative person and a quiet and introverted person."

I received the indictment today and I was shocked, because I saw that mother tried to save herself and run away. The knife broke. She tried to run away and there was no one to help her. She was stabbed to death." .

According to the indictment, while Yael's mother was sitting on an armchair in the living room of the house in Herzliya, the husband took a knife and stabbed and cut her in different places until the knife broke, while she was trying to defend herself from him.
When the knife broke and while she was bleeding, Yael tried to escape from the living room towards the front door of the apartment, so Ben Avraham took another knife and continued stabbing her until she collapsed and fell in the doorway of the apartment.
It was also stated in the indictment that while Ben Avraham was stabbing his wife, a neighbor who lives near the apartment came out and tried to stop his actions, but to no avail.
Afterwards, Ben Avraham washed the knives he used, and Yael's death was determined on the spot.
In addition, the couple's daughter who was at home at the time of the murder, Linoi ben Avraham, was released from house arrest after the police investigated the suspicion of her involvement.
