According to the police investigation, the security guard identified two residents of Haifa as suspects, he reported to KBT, who was later attacked.

After the report of the attack, Haifa station police officers arrived at the scene and began conducting preliminary investigation operations, from which it emerged that a couple who came to the store raised the security guard's suspicions, who reported this to the security guard. Within a few minutes, the couple began to riot and attack the security guard.

The security guard arrived soon, confronted them and tried to stop them, and while escaping, the suspect attacked the security guard with a bottle.

The investigators of the Haifa station launched a variety of investigative operations that include the use of advanced technological means in order to locate the suspects in the commission of the acts.

Yesterday and tonight, the police arrested the two suspects, residents of Haifa, aged 57 and 32, and they were brought to the Haifa station for questioning.

Today the police will ask to extend their detention at the Haifa Magistrate's Court.

The name of the security guard who was attacked is Avraham Levy, a 59-year-old resident of the city of Nesher.

In a conversation with Israel Hayom, he recounted the sequence of the event, at the end of which he was hospitalized.

"I was at the entrance to the Mishvir in my position and I saw a guy walking around outside the compound with a bottle of water," he repeated.

"I was suspicious of him at first, but I didn't pay any attention until he entered the police station."

"After a few minutes, a girl arrived and they wanted to enter the counter, so I asked to see her bag as a routine check," he described.

"In the bag I saw cigarettes and small scissors, and I reported this to the KBT and they entered.

After about 10 minutes I hear shouting from the second floor and the branch manager says that there are beatings.

I went upstairs and saw the couple cursing the seller and apparently there was a fight.

I asked the girl and the guy to get out of the Mashbir.

"On the way out, they started a barrage of curses that even I am ashamed to repeat their words. I asked them once more to leave the branch, and then the girl attacked me. I took out pepper spray for my own defense and sprayed a little in her direction, after that the guy who was with her threw a water bottle in my face, hitting my nose and breaking it "The eye socket. I collapsed on the floor and the couple fled the scene," Levy said.

At this point the Sif management called an ambulance, which evacuated him to the Rambam Hospital. "I am currently hospitalized and waiting for the eye surgery," he said.

Finally he said: "I have excellent human relations with every person, I try not to be involved in physical or verbal violence, I have never experienced a case of violence in my life, the first time I have experienced a case of violence. It is crazy what is going on in the country."

"The Israel Police takes very seriously an attack against security personnel who are doing their job while maintaining order and public safety and will use all the means at its disposal to bring the perpetrators to justice," the police said.
