"Out of control": FSB info shows how Lukashenko thwarted Putin's plan

In the Ukraine war, Kremlin boss Putin is largely isolated internationally.

Even his closest ally Lukashenko is said to have betrayed him.

Munich – In the Ukraine war, Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin's troops are having significant difficulties breaking through the strong Ukrainian defenses and advancing in many places.

Internationally, too, things are looking bleak for the Russian president, who is largely isolated due to his war of aggression.

Putin is surrounded by only a few allies, such as Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko.

Now it turns out: Lukashenko of all people is said to have betrayed Putin's plans for Ukraine - and apparently quite intentionally.

This emerges from the letter from a whistleblower from Russia's domestic secret service FSB.

Igor Sushko, head of Washington-based think tank Wind of Change Research Group, translated the letter.

At the beginning of the attack on Ukraine, the Russian leadership saw Lukashenko as an "easy target".

It was believed at all levels that Lukashenko would act in line with Russia's instructions, the letter said.

On the third day, however, it became clear that the Russian attack on Ukraine was a failure.

According to Sushko, the whistleblower went on to say that from then on Lukashenko "started to get out of control" and that the Russian secret service was no longer able to "remove" him.

Ukraine war: Lukashenko is said to have revealed secret plans of Putin's army

Now things are getting explosive in the letter from the FSB whistleblower.

Accordingly, Lukashenko is said to have deliberately revealed Moscow's plans to attack in order to rule out his own participation in the war.

This is about a meeting between Lukashenko and his military leadership on March 1, just a few days after the start of the war.

At the meeting, which was broadcast on state television, Lukashenko showed a map which, according to the whistleblower, revealed Russia's plans to attack Odessa and Moldova from the puppet republic of Transnistria.

In doing so, Lukashenko thwarted the secret plans of the Russian military.

The FSB's assessment of the incident: Lukashenko published the map on purpose to "draw international attention to the real targets of military attacks".

Afterwards he is said to have behaved as if he were not aware of the betrayal.

His action is said to have had an effect: the whistleblower describes in the letter that Moscow withheld real information because of the "unreliability" of Minsk, "which

(Belarus, editor's note) helped not to be drawn into the war”.

According to Ukraine, Russia is attacking Ukraine with rockets and kamikaze drones also from the territory of Belarus.

There are also thousands of Russian soldiers in Belarus.

So far, however, Putin has not been able to drag his close ally Lukashenko into the war.

Most recently, Putin was exposed twice in a row by another ally.
