The children participating in the collective art exhibition organized by Dar Siraj in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture embodied different themes, through which they drew scenes from the Damascene neighborhoods and various portraits, in the exhibition hall of the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Adawi.
The exhibition included about 200 paintings of different sizes, large and small, and various styles painted by 30 children.
The exhibition supervisor, plastic artist Raneem al-Lahham, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the ideas were carefully chosen, with the aim of refining children's talents, pointing out that the exhibition is the product of students' work for many years.
A member of the Board of Directors of Dar Siraj for Culture, Viva Kelsley, stated that Siraj is a cultural and educational project established in 2010, dedicated to children and adolescents, and is concerned with discovering and developing their talents and interests.
She pointed out that it works to guide children through a variety of intellectual, scientific and artistic activities, under the supervision of a group of specialists. his rich heritage.
Among the participating children, the young woman, Sham Jabara, expressed her love for plastic art, as she participated in 15 paintings with various themes, including what she drew from her imagination, such as nature and roses.
